Major Funding Programs
The following funding avenues were discussed:
- Swedish Aeronautics Research Programme (NFFP8): Active from 2023 to 2027, with funding levels of up to 2.5 million SEK for collaborative projects involving Swedish business partners.
- Horizon Europe: The EU’s flagship research initiative, boasting a €100 billion budget (2021-2027). Brazilian entities can participate via co-funding agreements with agencies like CNPq and CONFAP.
- Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA): Focused on postdoctoral fellowships and staff exchanges to promote international and interdisciplinary mobility.
Key Deadlines
- MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships: Opens April 12, 2025, and closes September 10, 2025.
- MSCA Staff Exchanges: Deadline February 5, 2025.
