As usual, the students in the first the year of LASHIP are responsible for creating the Mechatronic Pinheirinho for the Lab’s Christmas party, where the achievements of the year were celebrated. Besides the use of hydraulics for the first time, the interactivity between the mechatronic system and the users were prioritized. Thus, two games were developed: a punch machine, where a force scale shows the force applied by the user, and a labyrinth table, whose goal is to cross a ball through the right path.
The Lab’s Christmas party was attended by the staff of lab members, teachers, former members and friends. The preparation of the Mechatronic Pinheirinho was responsibility of the masters students: Felipe Vegini, Guilherme Pagatini, Rodrigo Barreto and Tiago Macedo. In addition, the following undergraduate students helped in the design and construction: Adriano Martins, Artur Tozzi, Claudio Silva, Débora Gardinal and Gustavo Pinheiro.
