The purpose of this workshop is to bring together Brazilian, Swedish and international industry and academia, interested in this evolving multidisciplinary field of fluid power, driver, actuation and control systems present in almost all industrial and commercial sectors, to promote collaboration in development of technologies, education, innovation management, and methods and tools for system development and design. The fluid power technology is also strongly coupled to other systems such as combustion engine, mechanical structure and control system. It is also an area of focus for energy efficiency, with new system concepts and other technologies, such as electrical drives making their entry into that market.
On this second edition, the workshop focus is on fluid power applications in Aircrafts, Vehicles, and Energy that are well established areas in Brazil and continuously demanding on research and development to be competitive. The system requirements and new technologies increasing energy efficiency, functional safety, reliability etc. in vehicles such as airplanes, trucks, buses, agriculture, and earth moving machines will be presented by experts from renowned companies and universities. Equipment and its challenges for wind, hydroelectricity and oil and gas energy generation and extraction will be discussed with the audience.
