The workshop program will include Keynote speeches, Invited speeches, Technical presentations, and Research presentations.
Technical presentations are directed to the industry with topics such as product development, new technological challenges, and case studies.
Research presentations will include master’s and doctoral projects in all areas of fluid power and researches related to innovation and knowledge management.
The presentations at the workshop will be distributed in sessions according to the abstracts and extended abstracts topics, please see the Program for more information. The technical and research presentations should be 15 minutes long and, at the end of each session, another 10-15 minutes will be available for the audience to comment and ask questions.
Please use the available template for your presentation in MS-PowerPoint (.pptx extension) format.The slides’ size should be standard (4:3) and the presentations should have a title slide, the contents slides and a final slide, please use the available themes when adding a new slide.
An abstract in English of 250-300 words will be required for both technical and research presentations. It should state the purpose, results, and conclusion of the proposed presentation. Abstracts must be written using the template available and submitted via e-mail (wiefp.ctc@contato.ufsc.br). The authors of accepted abstracts will present orally his/her work during the workshop.
For technical presentations, the authors of accepted abstracts are required to submit via e-mail (wiefp.ctc@contato.ufsc.br) the revised and final version of the abstract as an MS-word (.docx extension) file. It should state the purpose, results, and conclusion of the proposed presentation.
For research presentations, an extended abstract of 4 pages will be requested. It should include an introduction, objectives, theoretical and/or experimental fundamentals, main results, and a conclusion. Extended abstracts must be written using the template available and submitted via e-mail (wiefp.ctc@contato.ufsc.br) as an MS-word (.docx extension) file.
For research presentations only, the authors are required to submit via e-mail (wiefp.ctc@contato.ufsc.br) the revised and final version of the extended abstract as an MS-word (.docx extension) file using the same template as before.
The extended abstract will be published by the Linköping University Electronic Press with a DOI number and indexed at Google and Google Scholar. The workshop proceedings will be published with DOI and ISBN numbers and will be available at the Linköping Electronic Conference Proceedings. All publications through the LiU E-Press are open access and are protected through the Swedish copyright law, more information available here.
