The focus is to design a hydraulic solution that can integrate the power control through these three actuation systems and therefore reducing the nacelle weight due to the reduction of the number of components which are installed inside it. Additionally, the system does not require the use of frequency inverter and gearbox, optimizing the cost of the solution. Previous researches developed hydrostatic transmission applied to wind turbines. However, these solutions were only intended to control the power of the wind turbine through the operating condition where there is no need to actuate the pitch angle, requiring the application of another actuation system to perform the displacement of the turbine blades. In addition to pitch angle control, there is also a need for yaw angle control, which requires an actuation system isolated from the transmission system. To achieve a design solution that is able to provide all operating ranges of the wind turbine, this master\u2019s thesis presents an integrated solution that employs hydraulic cylinders for pitch control, hydraulic motor for yaw control and hydrostatic transmission for power regulation of the generator. The designed system was modeled in Amesim\u00ae including simultaneous control of the three actuations.
