
{"id":10,"date":"2013-06-10T15:01:13","date_gmt":"2013-06-10T18:01:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/k2studio.com.br\/laship\/?page_id=10"},"modified":"2023-12-04T15:44:12","modified_gmt":"2023-12-04T18:44:12","slug":"quem-somos","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/laship.ufsc.br\/site\/en\/laship\/quem-somos\/","title":{"rendered":"About us"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"span7\" style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">\n<hr>\n<p><strong>LASHIP &#8211; Laboratory of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems<\/strong> of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Federal University of Santa Catarina has a structure focused on attending university activities of education, research and services. <strong>The LASHIP\u2019s team is involved with undergraduate education since 1977 and graduate education and research on hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems since 1984.<\/strong> The research funds are from government projects and partnerships with industries. Besides the infrastructure in equipment and facilities, it is established a group of 4 professors and about 20 people among research engineers and graduate and undergraduate students connected through institutional projects and industry.<\/p>\n<p>The Laboratory has constantly updated equipment and facilities that enable the assembly of prototypes and proofs of concepts, the results of which are compared with simulations using mathematical models. Research results are applied in areas such as energy generation, aviation, and agricultural and industrial equipment. The main partner industries are Reivax SA, Bosch Rexroth, Camozzi and Saab AB.<\/p>\n<p>Due to its activities over the years, it is internationally recognized as a reference in hydraulics and pneumatics in Latin America. The close relationship with industries in the sector and with ABIMAQ-CSHPA allows LASHIP to identify the industry&#8217;s needs and, thus, train truly differentiated engineers, masters, and doctors. There is also constant attention to identifying and researching globally relevant topics and, to this end, students and teachers systematically participate in the main international conferences in hydraulics and pneumatics.<\/p>\n<p>Through international collaborations, students and researchers have had the possibility of carrying out part of their studies in renowned research groups such as FLUMES \u2013 Division of Fluid and Mechatronic Systems (Link\u00f6ping University \u2013 Sweden), Centre for Fluid Power and Motion Control (University of Bath \u2013 UK), IFAS \u2013 Institute for Fluid Power Drives and Control (RWTH Aachen University \u2013 Germany), Maha Fluid Power Research Center (Purdue University \u2013 USA), Aalto University (Finland) e Dresden University of Technology (Germany).<\/p>\n<p>LASHIP is certificated at the <a href=\"https:\/\/lattes.cnpq.br\/web\/dgp\"><strong>CNPq Research Group Directory<\/strong><\/a>, it is member of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gfpsweb.org\/\"><strong>GFPS \u2013 Global Fluid Power Society<\/strong><\/a> e institutional partner of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nfpa.com\/\">NFPA \u2013 National Fluid Power Association (USA)<\/a><\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cisb.org.br\/\"><strong>CISB &#8211; Swedish-Brazilian Research and Innovation Centre<\/strong><\/a>.
