From October 26 to November 6, Dr. Liselott Ericson visited LASHIP. She is a research fellow at Linköping University (LiU), Sweden, and coordinates a project with Volvo CE on energy efficient hydraulic systems for construction machines where the PhD student Henrique Raduenz will be involved. During her stay, she attended presentations given by eight master’s and PhD students from LASHIP as well as presented her recent research results on hydraulic pump design for cars that already resulted on 5 patents. It was also an opportunity to be introducing four Master’s students from Linköping that just arrived in Florianópolis for a period of 2 months. The visit of Liselott was of great value in order to increase the fruitful cooperation between FLUMES/LiU and LASHIP.
